LET’S GROW TOGETHER IN OCTOBER

A month dedicated to children

October 15th, Faculty of Dramatic Arts
The PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase

The PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase brings the challenging and inspiring atmosphere of the PRIX JEUNESSE International festival to media professionals working in children's media worldwide. It is a unique opportunity to explore different cultures, artistic expressions, and attitudes towards the youngest members of society through television and film productions from public broadcasters, streaming platforms, and independent productions from all around the globe. The project was launched in the mid-1990s and has since traveled the world, introducing itself to media professionals, educators, researchers, parents, and children. The Suitcase has visited 105 countries and 261 cities, and in 2024, it became enriched with 407 programs from across the world.

PRIX JEUNESSE International is a festival dedicated to television programming for children and youth. For 60 years, it has fulfilled its mission to promote excellence in television programs for children and youth worldwide, contributing to the understanding of the cultural significance of TV programming and raising awareness of how television as a medium is intertwined with the lives of children and youth.

The workshop moderator is Martina Peštaj, a media psychologist and editor-in-chief of Children's and Youth Programming at RTV Slovenia.
