Since 1965, it has brought together more than 400 experts in children’s and youth media from around the world every two years, who select and recognize outstanding and innovative content. The festival’s aim is to promote high quality, creativity, and media inclusion—so that children can see, hear, and express themselves and their culture, while growing with an understanding of other cultures.

Festival LET’S GROW TOGETHER proudly brings an international programme Prix Jeunesse Suitcasemaking Serbia the host of an event that brings together the best of both global and local children’s productions. The programme offers a rich selection of top-quality shows from around the world, as well as selected domestic programmes showcased as part of the festival LET'S GROW TOGETHER LET’S GROW TOGETHER. Workshops are coming to you – to preschools, schools, and early development centres, bringing an inspiring combination of watching TV programmes, play, and discussion. Children, educators, teachers, pedagogues, and parents will have the opportunity to enjoy a carefully selected programme, share their impressions, and participate in interactive activities that foster imagination, creativity, and media literacy.
The idea of the workshops is to show how how public service children’s media can be both popular and responsible – engaging, contemporary, and educational. In an era of algorithmic recommendations and global content standardization, the festival demonstrates that local language, culture, and community can form the foundation of a strong and relevant media brand that connects, inspires, and empowers children.
The programme includes:
- Screenings of the highest-quality programmes from the international collection Prix Jeunesse Suitcase and domestic programmes from the festival LET’S GROW TOGETHER;
- Discussions and sessions for educators and teachers on what makes children’s media content high-quality and responsible;
- Creative workshops and games that allow children to actively participate, rather than just watch passively;
- Media literacy promotion among children, parents, and educators—through the experience of watching together, discussing, and reflecting on the media that shape childhood.
