The best jury in the world, made up of 61 elementary school children, declared the program The Forest Five as the best in the fierce competition among all submitted program entries. In explaining their decision, the jury emphasized that the children’s TV show from Slovakia, with its unmistakably educational character, engages all the senses and encourages interaction.
The Forest Five – Episode: The Longest Throw Today, in Misterija, a competition is being held to see who can throw colorful balls the farthest. However, measuring and comparing the throwing distances turns out to be quite a challenge. Igi comes up with a solution, but soon discovers that his throw wasn’t the best and that he has lost the competition. The defeat makes him sad, but his friends help him realize that everyone is good at something different.

A jury composed of 23 eighth-grade students, together with 38 high school students, almost unanimously decided that the program of the Public Service of Slovenia stands out far ahead in terms of quality, openness, and effective education and communication, as well as the importance of the topics it addresses, making it the best and the winner of this year’s festival.
First time: I am It focuses on gender identity, gender roles, and social expectations related to sex and gender. We follow conversations among young people who have different values, expectations, and experiences in this area. Age group: 12–18 years.
